The bodice had glimmered and gleamed in the light and reminded me of the twinkle of stars. The bodice was fitted to look like a corset but had buttons on the back that were shaped like small flowers. My gown was long and had built in pockets. Plus, my gown was already maroon, I didn't want to look like a clown with too much red. I stained my lips with red lipstick that was smudge proof, Pansy said it would be best if I didn't share my lipstick with Malfoy all night, that way we could kiss, and no one would know by just looking at him.īut when I saw how I looked with the lipstick on, I grabbed a makeup remover wipe and took it off and simply tossed on a nude-colored gloss, something a bit more in my comfort zone. Pansy did my hair for me, curling all of it to perfection and braiding the front to keep it out of my face.
